Roberto Henríquez is one of the invited boutique wineries. This Pais wine comes from 200-year-old ungrafted vines planted in the Bío Bío Valley, cultivated with sustainable soil practices across diverse terrains, embodying the beauty of traditional, rural viticulture.

Fermentation took place in raulí (native wood) and concrete tanks, with aging in old, multi-use barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit.

On the nose, it offers earthy aromas with ripe red fruits, black pepper, and tobacco leaves. On the palate, it is broad, juicy, and firm.

Carter Mollenhauer is one of the invited boutique wineries, a family project led by winemaking couple Karine Mollenhauer and Edgar Carter.

 

This Cinsault aims not only to showcase the varietal’s typicity but also to express the mineral character of the granitic soils in Guarilihue Alto. The fruity aromas typical of Cinsault intertwine with a captivating mineral profile, featuring a stony, smoky note, complemented by granular tannins. It’s serious, fresh, and full of character.

On the nose, it is highly expressive, with notes of sour cherries and mushrooms, complemented by subtle hints of vanilla and toffee. On the palate, it stands out for its smooth body and fresh black fruit.

Notes of dried figs and toasted flour emerge on the nose, imparted by its 8-month aging in barrels. On the palate, it delights with fruity notes of cherry, sour cherry, and plum, all while maintaining a firm structure.

JP Martin is one of the invited boutique wineries. Garnacha De Cal originates from extreme vineyards in the Huasco Valley (Atacama Region), planted on calcareous soils with a coastal influence. The wine is 70% whole-cluster fermented, adding remarkable character to the palate, with floral and fruity nuances. Its fresh, tense profile is complemented by notes of gunflint and smoke.

This is a truly unique Garnacha, crafted amidst the desert landscape of Atacama, one of the last frontiers of Chilean winemaking.

This Carmenere stands out on the nose with a strong expression of berries, dried flowers, and hints of pepper. On the palate, it is fruity and fresh, with a rich acidity and sweet, gentle tannins.

This wine delights with enticing aromas of black fruits, spices, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it offers a silky texture complemented by harmonious sweet and subtly spicy fruit notes.

With the goal of creating the best expression of Carmenere, this wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (80% being new and 20% second-use), followed by 12 months of bottle aging.

 

This is an elegant, complex wine, with notes of blueberries, wild berries, graphite, rose petals, and a hint of black pepper.

 

It is full-bodied, fruity and flavorful, fresh, with sweet, silky tannins. It has a long, distinctive finish that reflects the terroir of Peumo.

On the nose, it features hints of blackberry, black cherry, and chocolate. On the palate, it offers a blend of ripe black fruits and violet flowers, with smooth, light, and sweet tannins.
